A Clockwork Orange - Filming Location (London)

Stanley Kubrick's controversial 1971 film 'A Clockwork Orange', an adaption of Anthony Burgess' novel of the same name was partly filmed at Thamesmead South Housing Estate.

The location marked was used when Alex (Malcolm McDowell) regroups with his droogs who challenge his authority: with Georgie (James Marcus) insisting the gang be run in a "new way" that entails less power for Alex and more ambitious crimes. As they walk along a canal, Alex attacks his droogs in order to re-establish his leadership.
