This place was claimed for/contraversed and the case was in courts for quite some time.After selfless efforts by Shri.Anant Ganesh Phanse(popularly known as "Kaka"in pali) with Shri Chintamani Apte and Advocate Upadhye,in courts at Pen and Alibag,the Hon court gave its decision based on some very old documents(in MODI script,available in tehsil office,)that it really belonged to Hindu community.
A new temple has been recently built at the spot,by people through active public contribution and participation. |
