Unused aerodrome which used in 2nd world war. we plan to do exactly at the airfields but don't be too surprised if you see a C-130J Super Hercules land or take off from the air strip at Rampurhat.

  • Surichua is an Army Airfield being used during the second world war. Now Abandoned.
  • As per recent newspaper reports, the Indian Air Force have decided to make this airstrip operational once again. Work has started. They expect C-130's to be used here.
  • Nearest city/town is Rampurhat, 12 km.
