Correia Salt Pan

Traditionally, this was a salt pan named "Chirkulemchem Agor" and salt was harvested here until the mid seventies after which the Correia family converted it into a water holding lake to provide concentrated salt water for the "Kobremandache Agor" which is another salt pan near by, used to harvest salt.
Since prawns thrive in salt water, that is the second benefit the owners have: luscious Tiger prawns!!! which are sadly stolen every day by the marauding non Goan migrants.
