Local hospital, which is popular but in an extremely run-down state after many years of little or no investment. It is the subject of much local controversy, as there are plans to close the remaining services and transfer them to other facilities in the area (notably nearby St John's Health Centre on St John's Hill), and possibly redevelop the site as housing - which has not been popular with many of its users.
