Prevail (IX-537) - Training Support Vessel (TSV-1) (Virginia Beach)

Activated in 1986 as a member of the Stalwart Class of Ocean Surveillance Ships operated by the Military Sealift Command, USNS Prevail (T-AGOS-8) served as a member of the Atlantic Fleet until October 2003.

Once deactivated by the Military Sealift Command, the Prevail was reclassified as a Miscellaneous Unclassified Vessel with the hull number IX-537 the same day and was put into operation at NAB Little Creek as a fleet training operations support ship. Presently she has been reclassified as Training Support Vessel 1 and serves as a boarding operations training ship for US Navy boarding & Navy SEAL teams.
