Good ancient city. Palanpur is birth place of Sidh Raj, the Solanki King of Patan. A temple of Lord Shiva where Sidh Raj took birth is still in existence. It is called that one secret under ground way from this temple to a safe place was constructed for security of newly born Sidh Raj.
