this is the great sun temple situated in bargaon village,it has a sun idol which is unique and dates back to the gupta dynasty,has several other great idols,it is a very famous site in hindu circles,twice a year chhath pooja is celebrated with great fanfare,millions of people visit to offer arghya to the sun god.just a 100 meteres away is the bargaon sun pond(surya talao) the waters of which have magical powers to heal leprosy.
