An early gothic castle ruins located in Brdy Highland established by powerfull Czech clan of Buzicis, predecessors of Lords of Zajics. One of the most important fortresses in this location in the early Middle Ages. The residence site of Lords of Zajic of Valdek ( Waldeck ), later of Hasenburg ( Hase de = zajic cz = hare en). Empty in the 16th century. The brother castle of not far of Zebrak Castle.
