North Brunswick Township High SchoolAlso known as NBTHS. The school opened in 1973 to serve the township of North Brunswick, who previously sent their high school students to other schools, mostly New Brunswick High School. Since then the school has been added to several times, most recently a large project that extended the building as shown across the grassy area surrounded by a road formerly known as "the Oval" The project included a new Auditorium which has been critized by local theater groups as being less advanced then it's predecessor with a sound system wired in mono and not stereo as well as raising safety questions when a hydraulic lift was removed from the plan leaving a large hole in the stage open to the orchestra pit floor, 12 feet below. The project also added classrooms, a second cafeteria and included the conversion of the former auditorium into the new library.
Another addition includes an auditorium and several art and other classrooms. Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Brunswick_Township_High_School Category: school Address: Raider Road, 98
