Site of the Provanmill Inn. This pub was "Glasgow Godfather" Arthur Thompson unofficial HQ for more than 30 years before his death from a heart attack in 1993. Thompson used the pub as a meeting place for his lieutenants where they would plan robberies and drug deals. In November 2004 it was destroyed in a suspected arson attack.
