Along the covered walkway from the Magdiwang Gate is an open field for football, soccer and track and field. This olympic size rubberized oval, with seven lanes, is a nature spot at daytime and is sufficiently lighted at night. It also has a grandstand where approximately 500 spectators could be seated. The field could likewise be made best use of for mass demos and other civic/cultural events.
