Signs were posted 9 July 2009 that there is no shooting allowed anywhere for the first 6.8 miles off Hwy 224 up to Helion Quarry on Memaloose Rd. Shooting is allowed in the gravel pits at 6.8 miles and Torch Quarry, about a mile beyond.
