RVTI Tura was established by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour to empower women by training them for various vocations.It is part of a nation wide organisation which includes National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) for women and RegionalVocational Training Institute(RVTI) for women . NVTI and RVTIs are imparting vocational training as required by the local industry and also providing need based training to become self entrepreneur. RVTI (W) Tura started in the year 1986. Today it is running 4 basic courses, 1 advance course and 20 short-term courses. Government has exempted age limit for all the courses.
Basic courses are:

1) Secretarial Practice (SP)
2) Hair and Skin care (H & Sc)
3) Dress Making (DM)
4) Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)

Advance Course is available in Dress Making.

Other than that 20 short term courses are available in different fields.
