  • My first 3 years of schooling 1952 - 1955 before moving to Penang to completed my education. Bukit Mertajam High School was where I won my first compatative sprint race. A nice solid Bronze medal. Sad to say i lost the medal in Penang. My own fault I was so proud I carried the medal in my school bag all the time and someone lifted it. I did win quite a few Silver cups and certificates at St Xavier's but it never made up for the BMHS trophy.
