  • My Grandfather James Gemmell...9050 of the Lancashire Fusiliers...2nd Battalion was killed and buried in this Cemetery on the 20/10/1914 along with Captain Lucas Tooth......Although i have a copy of the Burial Records that shows he was Buried here there is no record of him in this Cemetery......I hope some day his name will be recorded here beside the rest of these Hero's..........Raymond Gemmell...Grandson.
