Site of the former Laurentian High School. Now closed, sold by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board to Clyde Baseline Developments Inc., a subsidiary of SmartCentres which builds commercial developments for Wal-Mart and other big-box stores.

its bull that u guys closed down the school. laurentian was a second home to me i never stayed in a school longer tha a year except for laurentian. and i went to over 25 schools before i went there in grade nine. they have one of the best ld program in the city and the staff are personable. please bring back laurentian i would like to send my kids there one day....

Yeah, I was sad to hear that it's going to become a Walmart. I spent five good years there.

I can't believe Laurentian is no more. I attended, more so than studied,there for three years or so and am now living in Ireland, was sitting one night bored and thought I'd try looking up some old friends when I found out. How depressing the poosibility its to become another CORPORATE MONSTER!!!!!!!!!! :-(
