The octagon tower without entrance, which served as ventilation shaft of the Sea Library book storage. Each of the 8 faces has a bas-reliefed friezes, portraying the corresponding wind (as in Greek mythology: N - Boreas, NE - Calyce, E - Aphaela, SE - Euros, S - Notus, SW - Lepus, W - Zephyrus, NW - Scyrius), cornice is decorated with lions heads.
