Former Route Of Sill Place

Before the shopping center was developed, the houses to the east were built. The main road was Sill Place, and the road went on this route all the way to Oswell St. When the shopping center was built, the street was re-routed to terminate at an extension of Bernard St., which curved up from Oswell.

The actual road became part of the shopping center entrance, and because the turn facilities were already there, East Hills Rd. terminated at that location from the west.
