Old St. Lukes Church (London)

St. Lukes Church was consecrated on 20 April 1875 however the congregation has since moved to a new building (more history: www.stlukese16.co.uk/index.php?categoryid=8). It is now a community centre.

This is the church that features in the 1987 film "A Prayer For The Dying" starring Micky Rourke. A lot of the film was shot in this area of East London, including some scenes on the Woolwich Ferry.
