The Monument of the Holy Trinity (Yaroslavl)

The Holy Trinity is the monument created in 1995 by Yaroslavl' sculptor Nikolay Mukhin. Originally the monument was located on the place of The Assumption Cathedral' altar. When the Cathedral was rebuilt the monument moved at the different place. The Monument is the only one sculpture of the Holy Trinity becouse the "sculpture" as the form of Trinity' representation is breaking the Ortodox artisitc and cutural traditions and canons.

The nickname of this monument is "3 onions" becouse of angel's head's shape.

Here is the cup at the bottom of the Trinity and happy tourists are always trying to put coins in the cup from 1 meter distance for lucky and good!
