Haywood Hall Museum House and Gardens

www.haywoodhall.org/

This is the oldest house in Raleigh still in its original location. It was built in 1799 by state Treasurer John Haywood.

This facility is owned and maintained by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of North Carolina.

Contrary to popular belief, the quaint buildings and Christmas-y gazebo are not affiliated with Peace College. They are, however, great for Saturday strolls.
