  • This school has also become the most prestigious girls school in Penang, and in Malaysia. Many of its students are well known nationally and also worldwide. Dr. Sharizat, a former student of this school, is now the minister of Women and Home Affairs. Also, Dr. Ooi Chean See is now one of the conductors of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

  • This school had a duplicaste marking, now removed. A guest made this comment in September 2009. "This was my secondary school. It is the best school 20 years ago. I did admit there is it's best and bad. Most of all is that the best it has large compound and well maintain. It has hostel and varies facilities. The bad thing is the hostel is only for Malays. Other racist was not allowed."
  • I'm from class of 1984 and a chinese. It's not true that's it's for Malays only. Till today they have multi race students in school.
