The Cannoli are great, but the proprietor is a rude and tactless man. I'm not just speaking as an ex-employee but also as a customer. He has a tendency to corner customers and complain about pretty much everything. God forbid you should come in on a day when he's having to work in the deli because you'll be sorely chastised if you're unable to make your decision quick enough about what meet you want. Conti's is a really fun place to go when the "boss" isn't there. But I'd very much suggest not going past the cannoli bar if you can help it.
