  I believe things are turning around at this establishment. It's not a rough local boozer. It seemed a good local boozer on my first visit - as a stranger from out of town, I was welcomed by the locals and enjoyed some cracking conversations and the beer hit the spot too. Give it a try is my recommendation - you might find the atmosphere to your liking. I'll be returning when I'm next in the area.
