Central Radio and TV Broadcasting Committee (Pyongyang(P'yŏngyang))

The Central Radio and TV Broadcasting Committee is a sub-cabinet entity that supervises the technical and administrative broadcasting operations in the DPRK, except for propaganda broadcasts directed at the ROK. The Central Broadcasting Committee works in conjunction with the Post and Telecommunications Ministry and the Propaganda and Agitation Department of KWP. It is organized into several bureaus such that supervises news, editorial and censorship matters, publications and education. The Broadcasting University is under its direction, as is Korean Central Television, Radio Pyongyang and Mansudae Television.
