Constructed in 1857 with $3,000 in contributions from Edinboro citizens, Academy Hall was the first classroom building on the campus of the original Edinboro Academy. It is the oldest normal school building still standing in Pennsylvania and may be the oldest remaining normal school building in the United States. Academy Hall housed the offices of Alumni Affairs and the Alumni Association until 1995 when they relocated to the new Alumni House.

Extensive renovation was recently completed, and the building now houses the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
