Built in 1976, it is the largest and most comprehensive library facility serving northwestern Pennsylvania. The seven-story structure was named in honor of Justina Baron (ESNS '17) and Mildred Forness, two women who dedicated their lives to serving Edinboro students as librarians. A number of state-of-the-art computerized data bases link the library with statewide and national information sources. The library currently houses 476,486 bound volume equivalents, and 300 linear feet of archival material.
