The four buildings are "lockdown" areas where inmates are confined in large wings with rows of double bunk beds. Meals are delivered by privileged "janitors" (inmates housed in the minimum security area) in then brought in by the "trustees".

Inmates in minimum security who break the rules go to the lockdowns M-2 and M-3, the worst cases going to M-5.

The buildings are numbered starting from the southward corner and going counter-clockwise (the M standing for male):
M-2 - regular lockdown
M-3 - regular lockdown
M-4 - homosexual males are housed here
M-5 - the strictest lockdowns: in this two-story building there are two-person cells where inmates are kept 23 hours per day.
