BNR (originally stands for Bengal-Nagpur railway) more is the heart of Asansol City. It is third most importent crossing in Asansol after Hotton Road More and Asansol Station More near Asansol Municipal Corporation. This more is situated just beside Rabindra Bhaban, the main cultural auditorium of asansol. A full length statue of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, 1st nobel laureate from Asia is standing just at the centre of this crossing.
