The Detroit (Ladbroke) Race Course was a former horsebred racing track in Livonia, Michigan, United States, a suburb of Detroit. With the openings of Casino Windsor and other Detroit Casinos, the rise in legalized gambling quickly doomed the horsebred track.
Attempts to try and allow for alternative gaming use at the DRC did not succeed, and the last races were held here in 1998. Shortly thereafter, the property was sold off to developers and completely razed in the Summer of 1999 to allow for commercial & industrial development.
