E&N Railway Tunnel

The Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway passes through this ridge in this 145' tunnel.
This is the only transportation tunnel of any kind (road or rail) on Vancouver Island.

It is used twice daily by VIA Rail Canada's Malahat passenger train. The Malahat runs northward from Victoria to Courtenay in the morning, and returns southbound in the afternoon.
