Rest house of Former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada
In January 16-19, 2001, President Joseph Estrada (born Jose Marcelo Ejercito) was deposed during the Second People Power Movement (ESDA II). Following these events, he was transferred to this location in October 2003 and has remained here under house arrest ever since. He is still facing corruption and plunder charges and has yet to stand trial.
