However, if you visit the Dental Office of SomDutt/RameshChanderSharma located in the centre market, he should be able to provide a lot of information about Yusuf Sarai and vicinity. Another person who could give some info is AmritLalGupta who lives close to the the famous Ram/Hanuman Temple of Yusuf Sarai.
  • Adjacent to SomDutt/Ramesh/RahulSharma Dental Clinic in Yusuf Sarai Market there used to be the home of Mool Raj Sharma. We were his tenants for a couple of months in 1947 after partition. His son Pran was my class fellow from 1947 (class 3) to 1955 (class X) in DAV High School (Now called DAV Modern School), Yusuf Sarai. Our school Principal Bishan Sahai with his family first settled here in our neighborhood after the partition. His son Desh Bandhu was my class fellow from 1947 to 1955. Other notable families in our vicinity were ShriKant, Atimanav, DevNathRathor, Jagdish (Book & Ice Store), Nand Kishore (carpenter) and Talwar (Family Physician).
