They were my teachers too in KV Hardwar (what used to be BHEL Academy) near Sector VB. I remember Mrs Raikwar and Mrs Gulati vividly.
What you describe is the new Vidya (Bal) Mandir that came up in the mid 70s. What you are referring to probably was the Nursery School that used to be in this ground. I went to the same Nursery and KG school on these grounds in 1970-72 (age 4-6) before going to the KV from 1972 - 1978 (until Class VI). After that we moved to Hyderabad.
I also remember Mrs Kaul, Mrs Asthana, Mrs Madaan, Mr Gulati (Math), Mrs Dhaneshwari (Geography/Civics), Mrs Dey - all in the KV. |
