  • Note this Air Base has been censored since it is a prominent NATO installation. This is home of the 86th Airlift Wing and headquarters of U.S. Air Forces in Europe. Home base for Operation "Iraqi Freedom" and Operation "Enduring Freedom".
  • I miss the sounds of the F-16s always flying over. I was augmented to the security Police. Loved this base. 1988-1990
