Kashi Vishvanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Kalyanpuram, Thiruvaiyaru (Tk) Thanjavur District,Tamilnadu, India. The temple stands behind the holy river Cauvery, and is one of the holiest of Shiva temples. The main deity is known by the name Vishvanatha or Vishveshvara meaning Ruler of The Universe. Kasi Visvatha temples has been referred to in Hindu scriptures for a very long time as a central part of worship in the Shaiva philosophy.

This temple has been managed by the Kalyanapuram Kasi Viswanatha Seva Trusts Reg.No 3/2017. During the religious occasion of Shivratri, this temple conducts vrajahomam (preparation of holy viboothi).During the day, Mahaabhishekam for Lord Shiva and Ambal Visalakshi is performed every year. During Navarathri, Thiruvilaku Pooja is conducted for all the nine days.

This temple is currently undergoing thirupani for kumbaabhishekam and thirukula renovation.All donars are welcome to get the blessings of Lord Shiva and Visalakshi.
