  • I would like to find out anything about my grandfather TURABIJA MEHMED who was killed in the FIRST WORLD WAR apparently in Budapest, Hungary. My mother told me that he was also buried there. He was born in the city of Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina. ( former Yugoslavia.)Please if anybody knows anything i would appreciate very much to hear from you.
  • In the Hungarian Ministry of Defence tehre is a department for dealing with wargraves related issues. You can also look for hadisir.hu site. The name of the person is not enough, you need to know the unit, birth data for a quick result. In Budapest he must have died in a military hospital, during the war all fronts were outside of the borders of those times' Hungarian Kingdom.
