  • Holiest Sakthi Peetam (one of 64) in India and Ambal was worshipped by Adhi Sankarar. When we were the school children, devotees were allowed much closer to the "Garpakruham" but nowadays devotees are not allowed so much inside. I still remember the days when we go inside & take the " Kunguma Prasadham" from that Silver Pillar (Velli Thoon). Unforgettable days.
