Lake Union (Seattle, Washington)

Lake Union, 4th of July fireworks, ship repair, marinas, kayaks, floating homes, and seaplanes landing.

Growing commercial district at the south end of the lake. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center along the east side. Gas Works Park at the north end; Center for Wooden Boats at the south end.

  • From any high vantage point Lake Union is one of the prettiest urban lakes I've ever seen. Seattle is so fortunate to have this great lake for boating right in the middle of everything.
