Located at Exhibition Place, the Automotive Building has approximately 10,600 sq. meters (118,000 sq. feet) of space on the ground floor and approximately 3,870 sq. meters (43,000 sq. feet) on the mezzanine level, available all year. Facilities include a restaurant and kitchen, truck loading doors, escalators and an elevator and portable snack bars, and office space on the mezzanine level.

First opened to the public in August 1929, the CNE's Automotive Building at Exhibition Place was designed in the art deco style and originally constructed to showcase the automobile.

The building has been renovated and restored as a conference venue and renamed Allstream Centre. Officially reopened on October 22, 2009, it is the most energy efficient conference facility in Canada.
