Al Markaziyah West المركزية الغرب (City of Abu Dhabi)

Located west of Al Markaziyah (Downtown) and Union Square. It is home to companies and hotels such as the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, Baynunah Hilton Towers (once the tallest building in Abu Dhabi) and the Arab African Bank. It is also home to the British Embassy compound. Since it is generally referred to by AD locals as part of Khalidiya, its is best to use a name of landmark followed by 'Khalidiya' (i.e. British Embassy. Khalidiya) when dealing with a taxi.
