  • Incorrect Mr. Sanjay The congress house is the residence place of mahatma Gandhi during all the meetings that took place at the August Kranti Maidan. It is also the office of the Mumbai Pradesh Congress Committee. The Mujra place you refer to is opposite Congress House.
  • Congress House at Lamington Road, Mumbai, has nothing to do with Mujras. It was the head quarter of Congress during the freedom struggle and till 1969. Gandhiji, Nehru and other top leaders and freedom fighters were regularly attending Congress House during Freedom Struggle. But a small area opposite Congress House, is supposed to be a 'Badnaam' area. At present There are about 7 buildings in Congress House Compound and they are occupied by respectable families. Nothing hanky panky is allowed in Congress House. There are 2 respected schools and a Parsi Colony are next to Congress House. People must remove the wrong belief that Congress House is a 'Badnaam' location.
