The Waterfront is an old brownfield site which was redeveloped into an inclusive shopping and entertainment destination. The waterfront includes the Loews Cinema, numerous high-end restaurants and shops, big-box stores, a grocery, office complexes, and luxury apartments.

Site of the former US Steel Homestead Works. The Carnegie Steel Company labor dispute (known as the Homestead Strike of 1892) took place here.

  • They need to connect it to the rest of Homestead a little bit better, and they could also build a few parking garages and densify the project.
