The Beach LALLA FATNA: 15 Km. north of Safi, a recently built road and steep enough serpentée led to the beach LALLA FATNA. Dominated by a high cliff, this huge beach spreads its long strips of golden sands. It also has the advantage of being sheltered from the strong seasonal winds.The best of the cliff-sheltered beaches is known as Lalla Fatna , 51km from Oualidia and just 15km short of Safi (with which it's connected by local bus #10 or #15). It's totally undeveloped, with nothing more than a koubba and in summer a few Moroccan tents, sometimes a café. If you are intending to stay, you'll need your own transport and to take provisions. The beach is a steep two-kilometre descent from the road; camping on the beach, make sure you've pitched your tent far enough back from the tides. There is a moussem at the koubba on the thirteenth day of Chaâbane (the month before Ramadan).
