  • The mainland is the Nunavik Region of Quebec. The offshore islands are under the ownership of the Inuit of Nunavik, but are located in the jurisdiction of Nunavut Territory. Looks to me like this area is on the mainland. I am wondering whether or not there has been a confusion between Nunavik and Nunavut.
