The last locality that links the Bangalore mainland to the once satellite-town ‘Yelahanka’, Vidyaranyapura is in the vicinity of the famous HMT and BEL. Approximately 13 KMS from the Bangalore city railway station, it is a very calm and quiet place with ample greenery – especially the campus of the agricultural university, GKVK – and a small water body that adds to its beauty. The locality is booming due to the close proximity to Bangaluru International Airport and the Devanahalli Business and IT Parks.

  • Vidyaranyapura is really a heavenly place with ample greenery and sufficient lung space! But roads are dug up on and off, and never to be repaired. Reliance Fresh is the latest boon to Vidyaranyapura.I am the proud owner of the first house in Balaji Layout!
  • I am one of the earliest residents of Vidyanranyapura. We moved to this area in 1987 when I was in my 6th Std. Times have changed a lot. Today there is lot of traffic which was a calm and quite place 20 years ago.

  • Its almost a decade I live in Vidyaranyapura, Intially when i had to travel to the suburbs, I used to feel,its very far..Now I guess its just nice..... no complaints..whatsoever.
  • My parents live in Vidyaranyapura, and i come on vacation once year as i live in Dubai. I find the place very calm and peaceful with a lot of greenery and birds. Initialy i did not like it because we were used to staying in the cantonement area and M.G. Road was very close. But now the area has developed so much and everything is accessible in the area that u don't have to venture in to the city.I love the place and especially GKVK as it the most amazing places God has made.Living in this area away from the traffic is also a plus point.

  • I have a house in Vidyaranyapura in Srinidhi Layout,which is a newly developed layout. In the year 2004 there were hardly any house there. Now it hard to find any vacant plots. I love this place which is very calm and green, and the greatest advantage is that there are lots of buses coming to Vidyaranyapura.
  • I live in Vidyaranyapura from 1997 in between Durga Temple and V. Pura Police Station. It is a peaceful, calm place compared to the thoroughfares of Blore and has excellent bus facilites.

I Know vidyaranyapura since from 1993 very calm place nice residential area. - Good Bus facilities - Schools - Shops - Hosipitals - Durga Temple is highlight - GKVK is the place for morning walk, you can get fresh fruits here - Thindlu and Kodigehalli are near by places - Sanjay nagar is another near by place for movie theaters - BEL and HMT are highlights and hence residential area exists here - International Airport is 30 to 40mins drive and area is picking up and developing at faster rate - yeshwant pur is near for shopping and railway station - Malleswaram is not too far - Over all its a place developing at faster rate and withing five years it will grow still much faster but still its our resonsibility to take care of surroundings and environment for better life

  • true......... Vidyaranyapura is grown to the extent of Koramangala or Indiranagar,,,u name it and u have it. But way back in 1985 this was God forsaken place, no autos would ply to Vpura... we should all be thankful to Vidyaranyapura BEL residents Association. The man behind the developement, growth of infrastructure is the Gen.secreatary M.Ananda Shetty.

  • I lived in blr for last one year an out of all the places visited, Vidhyaranyapuram is the one place which i like most, somehow i feel this is a very homely an good place to live, i have been to the durgatemple many times an the Durga idol is great, because of the temple people are also good an helping in nature, i also feel that this place goodness should be maintained
  • Yes vidyaranypuram is a nice place,however there are a number of houses where prostitution is going on, please have your association check on house no 2108 in front of the nursery near ketam hospital, it is a known place for prostitution
