  • Sadh Belo (Sindhi: ساڌ ٻلو), or Sat, is an island downstream of Bukkur island and separated from it by a short stretch of river. On it is a Hindu religious establishment founded in 1823 by Swami Bakhandi Maharaj Udasi; the gaily-painted buildings are, however, more or less modern. The place is held in high esteem by Hindus throughout Sindh and even in India. Occasionally attracting pilgrims from across the border.[1] The island with its two inlets, Sadh Belo and Din Belo, is shown on the official map of 1893-4; in 1912 it was accurately surveyed on the orders of the Collector. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadh_Belo

  • Sadh Belo and Kalkia Devi are Historical Religious places / Temples. Sadh Belo is situated at the Island of Indus River near lansdown Bridge. It is high esteemed by Hindus as well as most of the Sindhi Muslims because of their similar culture, Language and living style. On the other side, Kalkia Devi Temple is situated at Alore / Aror not far away from Sukkur / Rohri. As Sindh is remained rich so Invaders of North side always used to attack on these temples for golden ornaments. Now it is responsibility of our Government to take attention towards these Historical religious places and make the same more beautiful after making efforts. GUL MUHAMMAD SOOMRO
