Sheetal Building started off as a project started by employees of the Kamani group (various comapnies). However, by the time the project reached fruition , its residents were a mixed crowd. Residents started moving in around 1979-80 and by early 80s , almost all the 32 flats were occupied. Most of the residents are old timers , but there has been some change of hands as far as flat owner ship goes.
